Bring the whole family and enjoy our live band, wagon rides along with sugar house tours. Come meet Emmit Picket, one of Maine's best known, self taught Maple "Sap" experts played by the very talented actor, singer and humorist Barney Martin. For a nominal charge the whole family can also enjoy a real old fashioned pancake breakfast served from 9am until mid-afternoon. That’s because University of Rhode Island
researcher Navindra Seeram, who
specializes in medicinal plant research, has
found more than 20 compounds in maple
syrup that have been linked to human
health, 13 of which are newly discovered in
maple syrup. In addition, eight of the
compounds have been found in the Acer
(maple) family for the first time...
