RESERVE YOUR TOUR
Tours are conducted by reservation only,  weekdays from 9-noon Monday through
Friday from Monday September 26th through Friday October 29, 2010
.
We are now taking reservations for 2010 Fall Harvest educational tours.   
Please make your reservations by calling Kelly at 207-998-3259.


OUR PROGRAM
The children will:
1. Experience a lesson on the life cycle of the corn and pumpkin plants.
2. Learn how to make popcorn from an ear of corn.
3. Take a HAY RIDE to the Pumpkin Patch and pick out their very own pumpkin and
ear of popping corn.
4. Get acquainted with and pet farm animals in our Petting Barn .
(Feed for the animals may be purchased for a quarter from feed machines).

TAKE HOME
• Ear of popcorn.
• A pumpkin from our pumpkin patch.
• Everyone takes home LOTS OF GOOD MEMORIES!

TIME ON THE FARM
Our tour takes approximately 1/2 hr. Please be prompt — you will want to enjoy
your entire scheduled time. You should allow at least an additional 1 hour for lunch
and Pumpkin Land Fun. We have plenty of picnic tables, and restrooms are available.
We invite everyone to bring their picnic lunches and enjoy a “FUN DAY ON THE
FARM".

Monday September 27th through Friday October 29th.
Tours Open Monday - Friday 9am - Noon

PRICES
Tours are $5.00 for Children, Adults and Chaperones.
All paid admissions include a pumpkin and ear of popping corn.
There is no admission charge for the teacher.
( $3.00 for teachers wanting a pumpkin and ear of popcorn.)


RAIN
If the weather is questionable on the morning of your tour please go to our website
and click on the "Daily News Updates" tab for up to the minute info on tours.

CANCELLATIONS
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled tour other than for weather, we would
appreciate two weeks notice, so that we may fill your appointment time.

CHAPERONES
Although we have no minimum chaperone requirement, chaperones are expected to
supervise the children at all times while on the farm.

ATTIRE
Please make sure children are dressed appropriately for outdoor activities i.e.,
hats/mittens etc.

HOW TO FIND HARVEST HILL FARMS
From Gray
Take Rt. 26 North 20 minutes. We are a half mile north of five corners
(intersection of Rt. 11 and 26)...We are the big farm on the right.

From Auburn Turnpike, Exit 75
Take a right out of exit. Then take 2nd right onto 122 West, follow all the way to
Poland Spring then turn right on Rt. 26 towards Oxford. Stay on 26 for 10 minutes.
We are on Rt 26 on your right just past Five Corners.

From Oxford
Take Rt. 26 South. We are the big farm on the left one half mile before you reach
Five Corners (intersection of Rt. 26 and 11)

2010 Fall Harvest Tours

FALL TOUR OBJECTIVE
The Harvest Hill Farms’ Fall Harvest tour provides an enjoyable educational
experience for groups of children in pre-school through third-grade. Children
will learn about the harvest of pumpkins and corn in age appropriate terms that
they will understand and remember. This fun-filled tour will give young
children an opportunity to learn while having a wonderful time.
ENJOY SELECTED PUMPKIN LAND ATTRACTIONS TOO!
Children can also enjoy selected Pumpkin Land attractions during their visit.
These include our 'Kids Size Corn Maze", Giant "Frankenslide', "Enchanted
Barnyard" and our expanded Petting Barn and Barnyard.
