Barbecue Showdown & Battle
of the Bands Returns to the Farm
The 2013 Band, Barbecue & Brew Festival will take place
on Saturday, June 29th at Harvest Hill Farms on Route
26 in Mechanic Falls, Maine.
Last year, seventeen bands competed for the One
Thousand Dollar top prize as well as the second place
Five Hundred Dollars and the third place Two Hundred
and Fifty Dollar prizes. The musical talent was incredible
and we expect this year’s competition to be even more
fierce and competitive.
Second Music Category Added
We have added a second category of music this year as
we invite solo / acoustical artists to participate.
Mark the date on the calendar, Saturday, June 29th,
starting at 12 Noon.

The Barbecue portion of the Festival is actually the Sixth
Annual Maine Barbecue Showdown, featuring many of
Maine’s finest Pit Masters. You are sure to taste some of
the best barbecue you have ever eaten and will not walk
away hungry.
All New for 2013...The Brew Tasting
The Brew Tasting is a new addition for 2013. We will
have a wide variety of beers on hand for you to taste
and enjoy.
Field of Dreams Family Fun Park
Don’t forget, the Harvest Hill Farms family fun park is
included in your ticket price, with the lone exception
being the gem mine.
It is a great day at the farm for family fun, music,
barbecue, beer and sodas for the kids.
